The life of police inspector Viktor Nikolov is at a kind of crossroads. The fine family idyll with his wife and daughter has been disrupted due to financial problems resulting from the corona pandemic.

At the end of winter, the Skopje Department for Blood and Sexual Offenses takes over a murder case of a known drug addict and sex offender from the Gostivar police. The drug addict was found shot dead in his room at Mavrovsko Ezero. The only clue for the police is the shell casing found at the scene of the murder.

On the first day of March, the course of the investigation and the personal networks of the police inspector come into direct conflict with each other, accompanied by dangerous and deadly consequences.
