At the very end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 21st century, somewhere between the modern world and the beginning of the fall of the Ottoman state, two seemingly different stories take place. Camila Jalal is a dedicated detective who will turn Istanbul upside down to find the cause of her husband's death. But Kamila Jalal is also a girl who, after a series of unfortunate events in her life, begins to become close to the people around the sultan in the Yildiz palace.
