Dragana Evtimova and Vladimir Lukash, through their letter writers and narrative voices – Epistoria and Epistory, respectively succeed in the epistolary novel, apart from the realistic procedure and everyday life, to insert a note of supernaturalism, Russian-type micro-stories similar to those of Harms, excerpts from newspapers and magazines , literary reviews, all the way to parts that look like reports from National Geographic. All this contributes to reading this novel both as a diary and as an e-mail exchange and as a lexicon of meanings and long walks in the realms of the real, the surreal, the magical realism, the miraculous and the fantastic. A novel that emerges from the psychological games and life simulations of Epistory and Epistory, the two roles of the same perfect yin-yang character.
