Biography
Jovan Ilieski is a psychologist, Gestalt therapist, writer, eternal storyteller by soul. He loves
extraordinary stories from everyday life. He has six novels - "My Father, Bosphorus" is his sixth work. An
eternal lover of the impossible, of fixing the broken, as he tries to do in every book оf his. He has been
writing tirelessly since he was seven years old. For him, home is not a place, but another heart. He does not enjoy writing poetry, but poetry enjoys being written by him. Because of that, he has received several national awards even before he was published as a writer.
His short prose works can be found in the pages of the magazine for contemporary Balkan literature
"Balkanski Knjizhevni Glasnik".
After more than seven sold editions and six titles so far, the author says for himself that he will always
write, just as he always breathes.
